Here's what I'd try....sm

2 Alarm clocks. 1 set by the bed and the other across the room so they have to get out of bed to turn it off. Make sure you buy the loudest, most obnoxious clocks available.

The first time they oversleep I'd make them go to bed 1/2 hour earlier that night. Keep increasing and if they end up having to go to bed at 6 p.m. on school nights to get up the next day on time do it. If they have a TV, phone, etc in their room get rid of them if they're staying up surfing the net, chatting on the phone, etc. and go back to sleep after the alarm goes off. My sister makes her 16-year-old son surrender his cell phone to her at 9 p.m. every school night and his friends know that if they dare call his cell phone or their house after that time that they'll have to deal with her - and it won't be pleasant. He's pretty popular at school so it hasn't damaged his social status and his friends have learned to respect the rules my sister has.
