Quit concerning yourself with "normal." sm
What works for one couple is completely irrelevant to what works for another couple.
It only matters what is comfortable between the 2 people in the relationship.
Every single person has a unique preference of what is the right amount for themself, and we're lucky to find someone we're compatible with in that manner. Some idea of "normal" shouldn't be your gauge.
It doesn't matter if my husb and I only do it once a month if that's all we feel like doing. I don't care that anybody is doing it 3 times per day. It's irrelevent to my relationship.

There is no "normal." It is whatever works for

Oprah actually seems very "normal" for a billionaire,

Of course she has flaws and maybe some annoying personality traits, but it's all about intention imo, and I believe she is intending to change this world for the better, and she is succeeding!  Everyone has a right to their opinion, but before throwing stones at such a great humanitarian, why not take a look at yourself and ask what you've done to better the world lately.  I'm sure Oprah could name a few things off the top of her head!

She has stated numerous times that she has no interest in running for any type of political office, so don't worry your pretty little heads about it!  If she ever ran I think she would have a good shot just because she lives her life pretty openly and doesn't seem to have anything to hide (she might even give too much personal info on her show!), and she seems to have a good heart and really wants to help those less fortunate.  So many politicians scare me because they seem corrupt, and many are into shady business dealings.  Many seem to be in it just for the money, which she already has plenty of! -end pro-Oprah rant  (kam)

Breast feeding past a "normal" age
You are right some things just should not happen - such as other people judging how long a mother breastfeeds her child. It is none of your or their business. My son is now 21 - has memories of breastfeeding and is the most polite, intelligent and psychologically stable young man you could ever wish for. He would be a blessing to any family and I believe will make an excellent husband when he decides to marry. We have a close relationship, as I do with my daughter who only BF for 6 months - at her choice. What exactly is the "normal" age? And who set that "rule" up? I would rather have breastfed my children than to have abused them physically or mentally - believe me, he was not abused in any way - if you knew him, you would only wish that your children were like him - my husband and I are the envy of all of our friends because we never had one bit of problem with either of our children because they were raised properly - and I do believe that BF played a role in their developing into responsible adults. If you want to borrow him when you are having a headache because your kids are out of control - just let me know - he would definitely brighten your day.
I found some on Googling....
There are angels God puts on this earth
who care for us and guide us.
You can feel their love and gentleness
as they walk through life beside us.
God blessed me with a person like that
she loves me more than any other.
And I'm thankful I'm the lucky one
who gets to call her
MOTHER.
Isn't googling the greatest??
I just love what comes up...especially when you have a shady ex like mine as well. But....then it gets old and you get over it, but it is a great way to "heal"..I think anyway.
While you are googling, check out some sm
Boy Scout sites. They usually have some favorite camp meals and recipes that are relatively easy and quick because most of the cooking is done by boys 11 to 18 years old. Here are a couple of my troop's favorites:

Foil Packet Dinner

Any kind of meat or fish
Any kind of vegetables but be sure to use some high-water content veggies such as onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, squash, etc.
A dash or two of soy sauce or Worchestershire sauce.
Aluminum foil
Camp fire

First, lay flat a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place choice of meat in the center of it. Salt and pepper or season to taste. Cover this with thin slices of a variety of veggies and then add a dash of sauce. Fold up butcher style making sure to seal all seams but leave enough room for the steam that will build up. Cook on hot coals (not directly in the fire) for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the meat until meat is done. Fish will take less time and hamburger meat will take longer.

Some possible combinations: Hamburger with salt and pepper or seasoned salt, bell pepper, onions, potatoes, carrots, and green beans with Worchestershire sauce. White fish with lemon pepper seasoning, onions, potatoes and green beans (probably would not need any kind of sauce as this is all high water content). Ham, canned or thinly sliced fresh sweet potatoes, pineapple slices and soy sauce (no salt needed for this one as the soy sauce and ham will be salty).

Dutch-Oven Peach Cobbler

1 box yellow cake mix
1 large can sliced peaches with juice
1 stick oleo or butter.
Aluminum foil.
Large dutch oven

Line Dutch oven with aluminum foil for easy clean up. Dump the peaches in the oven. Dump the cake mix on top of the peaches and distribute evenly. Slice oleo or butter up in small pieces and dot over the top of the cake mix. Cover and cook on Coleman stove or on VERY hot coals near the fire for about 45 minutes. Knock DH and kids away from the fire as they begin to inhale the wonderful aroma!

Hope this helps some.
Googling turned up:
Small amounts of ammonia are normally in the bloodstream. Many serious illnesses, including liver damage, can cause blood ammonia levels to rise. High levels of ammonia can cause patients to become confused and die, if left untreated.
Was easy to find by Googling...sm with link

number one cause of
Is cheap soap. Cough it up for some Tide brand or something dye/fragrance free and use plain ole Ivory soap.

Then I would wash everything in the house in hot water, including the drapes and have the carpets cleaned, just in case it is from the dogs.
The person who last had our number...sm
still uses it, so we get calls for her all the time! We got this number over a year ago when we moved and constantly get calls for her. We always tell them this is not her number anymore, but I guess lately she's been using it to give to loan places because they told us this. They apologize but it still stinks. She has a lot of debt out there, especially for school loans. We don't want to change it, though, and go through the same thing again and having to tell everyone our new number for nothing. We're also signed up at the Do Not Call website.
that was more than a number of years ago...nm

It should be 3fatchicks.com (have to use the number)

approaching 8 is a litter. I have enough sense to know difference between normal births and in my words, nothing but a litter. The mother needs to be spayed. Now come back on that, also.
Is there a way to block a number...sm
from calling your house if that caller is calling from a cell phone.  My mom has tried to block my dad from calling her house and it says this number cannot be blocked.  I was also gonna block his # from my phone as well.  I know it sounds terrible but my husband just came home today from working out of town and we were trying to watch TV and spend time together.  My dad wouldn't quit calling.  I mean we are talking every 10 minutes.  I answered it about 4 times thinking he would quit calling if I talked to him.  No he would just keep calling.  And I am not exaggerating -- it was every 10-15 minutes.  It will make you want to throw the phone out the window.  All he says when I answer is I'm bored.  I am like ok and why don't you watch TV or call a friend or something.  He will literally keep calling and say I am just so bored.  I can't take this.  Why won't your mama take me back?  Blah Blah Bhlah.  My mom said a call from a cell phone can't be blocked.  There has to be something I can do.  I was gonna block my house # and if he keeps calling my cell I can just turn it off.  Does anyone know a way to block a cell phone call?
call this number if you care so much...

THIS IS WHAT AMERICAN IDOL WAS DOING LAST NIGHT - COLLECTING MONEY OF which half was going to the poverty-stricken in the USA and the other half to Africa.

This was such a non-superficial American Idol...but again, did you even watch?

Josh Groban brought some of us to tears with those African children singing with him, as did Carrie Underwood in Africa with the children - very touching indeed...to say the least.

If you have their number call them back
I recently bought a repo'd house, and I have been getting constant calls from the creditors of the former owner...how and why they got MY phone number is probably not very legal, based on the address I presume, as I put myself on the "do not call list" the minute I got my new phone number. Capitol 1 in particular was calling me every single day at the crack of dawn (I work 2nd shift) wanting this guy.  Finally I wrote down every number that had been calling me on a log and started calling them back, and behold it was the same company calling from a different number every time!  I began insisting on speaking to supervisors and threatening them with a harrassment lawsuit.  They promised to stop, and then started again in 2 weeks.  So I started calling them back again.  For now it has stopped, but I don't know for how long.  I guess I'll be getting mail and phone calls for this guy forever more (he recently subscribed to some magazines and they're all being sent here).  Sure would like to meet him in person and force him to fill out a change of address form!
I have had my phone number for 6+ years.
When I first received it I kept receiving calls from agencies for a specific person. I told them this was not their number, etc., and had no idea who this person was. After a while, they stopped calling; but now after 6 years I am getting them again for new debts, so this person is using my number (which may have been their old one) still. I just tell them I have had this number xxx years and this person repeatedly uses it for their info and eventually they quit calling. I did have to speak with a manager once, and after that they stopped.
now divide that over the number of taxpayers
and don't forget to figure in her tuition that we will all be paying.  SICKENING!
Just the opposite for me - 13 is my lucky number,
Same goes for odd-numbered years. Those almost always go well for me, and without fail, even-numbered ones are the pits.
There was a time a number of years ago -
when everything was so frustrating at work, at home, and everywhere else, I came within a heartbeat of just getting in the car and leaving EVERYTHING behind: Abandoning my job, my friends, my family, my apartment, even the pets in my apartment. EVERYTHING. Just leaving and becoming somebody else, somewhere else.

But I decided to give it just ONE MORE DAY. The next day I called in sick and didn't go to work, just to give myself one more day to think about it, and to pack and close out my bank account, just in case I was really going to do it.

The next day I went in to work, and guess WHAT? The boss had been fired! From that point on, things started looking up, so I stayed.
A number of years ago I was discussing

tubal versus vasectomy with the assistant pastor's wife.  They had 3 kids and were done, but her hubby didn't want the vasectomy.  Someone had told him it increased prostate cancer risk or something like that.  News to me.  Anyway, she really did not want a tubal because she had seen her mother suffer so terribly after hers, and her mother eventually had to have a hysterectomy.  That was the first I had ever heard of such a side effect, but I didn't forget it, and have since heard many people describe the same thing.

A vasectomy makes so much more sense if you are paying out of pocket.  My husband's insurance was through a Catholic organization so we had to pay ourselves, which is why we chose that option.

It's not a psychological problem.  It's just not a side effect that everyone has.

Way to block phone number?
I just answered the phone and same ole, same ole company calling that I do not wish to talk with. If no return phone number comes in on my ID, is there some way after the fact of blocking this number out?
No, but I've let someone use my phone number....SM
Big mistake. We rented out our home for a while and let the renter use that home phone for outgoing calls. I forwarded my calls to my cell phone from this number. She couldn't receive calls, just could make calls. But, now I'm getting calls from bill collectors and I wonder how many databases my phone number is in due to her using my number. Won't do that again.
1 vote per phone number would be fair...sm
that way they'd really know what people think and not who has the fanciest speed dial modems that casts hundreds of votes per phone line.
Mine has an emergency phone number to
call when things happen out of the office hours. THe recording at the office should say something about emergencies and what to do about them.
Block his phone number and don't answer- sm
the door. Also get a restraining order if you have too. Call a doctor or hospital and find out what is necessary in terms of committment, stop threatening him and do it if you are legally able to. If you cannot then give him some phone numbers of services that can help him tell him he has to help himself. No wonder your mom divorced him, sounds like a 2-year-old who wants everything his way and takes utterly no responsibility for himself.
My german shepard has the number one name Max - but it is short for his registered name Max-in-a-mil
My Rott is Rock Haus

and last but not least I had to snakes male and a female named Felony and Miss Demeanor.

Oh and my Bichon is Mandolyn Lee
It may be a minor inconvenience but definitely get your phone number changed.

I went through a similar situation, but the guy I met and went out WITH FRIENDS with only ONCE went nuts on me and did the same thing, calling all hours of the day and night, showing up unannounced, at church when I picked up my daughter from Sunday school, he was sitting in a chair next to her and had no business even being there and didn't even go to my church. I asked the Sunday school teacher about it and she said he said he was my daughters stepfather!  I said, no, he is not and he's nuts.  I quit going to that church and I really liked that church, but I had to protect myself and my daughter.  Finally, when I was at work he broke into my house, broke every pane of glass in all of my family photos hanging on the wall and stole some of my panties from my dresser and there was a note in my underwear drawer and it had the B word written on it.  I was scared to death and I called the police and they arrested him.  I was so upset that I moved to another city that was still within driving distance of my job, I changed my phone number, and my brother even got me a different car so he wouldn't know I still worked at the same place because he would drive by and see my car.  When I got to work every morning, I parked out of sight and came in through the back instead of the front the way I used to.  Oh, I also changed my last name to my grandmothers last name.

For the last several years I have lived in another state and am happily married to a very nice man, but I'll never forget that horrible experience in my life.

to confuse the roman numeral II for the arabic number 11.

I did notice that but I hate to put my SS number on the internet. I know they said it is secure but
how secure is anything.  I just wondered if anyone could give me an idea of the length of time it takes.  Thanks.
it is too easy to confuse the roman numeral II for the arabic number 11.
