Oh what an adorable little fella!  You can see it in his face that he was well loved. 


I have 3 small dogs (Lhasa-poos), the oldest now 15, and he does have a collapsing trachea diagnosed several years ago.  Sometimes he can go for weeks without any episodes, sometimes they happen every day.  I think we've been lucky so far, being able to manage it with  a pill called Tussigon, but we know the time will come where that will no longer help him and it kills us to think about it, so we try to put it out of our heads.   It is absolutely heartbreaking to hear that cough and know that it will only get worse.


Thank you for bringing this problem to light.  I'm not sure that, even if we knew about it before, it would have changed our minds to own little dogs.  They really do rock and bring us so much joy.
