It never gets easier to lose a pet, no matter how long you are lucky enough to be owned by one. I've dealt with a young, powerful dog with epilepsy and cats with tumors. Just recently lost my elderly cat due to old age/illness. But to have your pet taken due to tainted food, just leaves me so sad..... [[[[ hugs to you both ]]]]
