know people who have one and she ran across the yard and got the neighbor by the foot after he got out of his car to go into his house! They are feisty little dogs and cute as a button. I still love them. I used to live next door to a Chihuahua who would not let me out of my car, and when I got out it bit my foot. Our Chi is afraid of her own shadow and very sweet. The most she does at strangers is bark! Just like people, I guess . . . each one is different.

 I just told my 8-year-old we were having spaghetti tonight for supper. He loves spaghetti. He asked me if we had any "Papa John cheese" -- LOL -- he means parmesan cheese. Sometimes my kids crack me up!

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about Conner, a 13-year-old boy from Indiana who had a BMT for a very rare disease called NEMO. Only a handful of NEMO boys have had BMTs with "mixed results" according to Conner's mom. Conner's transplant was in August and he's had a rough time with a few highs and lots of lows. I thought it would be neat if Conner could get a hat from every state to maybe boost his morale as well as cover his bald head since it's getting cold! So far four hats have been sent and a few more are pending. I was hoping you all could help out by either sending a hat, or even just passing the links along as the more this gets around, the more hats Conner will receive.
At least check out his web site that his mom and dad maintain updating his progress, posting slide shows, etc. Conner is one in a set of triplets and also has a 10-year-old sister. The photos tug at your heart and the music rips out what's left of it. It would be great if you signed the guest book. His mom says they read it together every day and it means a lot to the both of them. This family, and especially Conner, needs all the encouragement and support they can get.

My fav commercial is the commercial with Meatloaf. It's for the AT&T ToGo Phone. The son is asking for one in the garage and he's all "let me sleep on it" so they just sing back and forth together and then the mom walks in carrying some sort of deer leg or something for the freezer?! lol it's great.

Right now I don't like that Wal-Mart commercial about the Power Wheels truck and she says..."I would have paid anything for that morning..." or something like that! Gah...annoys me cause most of us real folk can't afford to pay "anything for that morning..."

Am still amazed at how well they clean! Also have a microfiber mop. I used to get on my hands and knees and scrub my floors, but after I found this mop, that's all I use! I have so many of these cloths around my house because I just don't want to be without them! Have given them to my DILs and my friends, and they love them too. I can just go on and on about them. I know it's crazy, but after all the years of scrubbing and hands that get cracked and dried from chemicals, I just can't say enough about them.

I love the one where the guy gets up in the middle of the night and puts the diamond necklace around his wife's neck. When she wakes up he pretends to be asleep but right at the end he just barely starts to smile. He has the sexiest mouth!

DH and I both enjoy that commercial,
but he interprets it very differently than I do. I see it as a dad thinking his daughter is embarrassed by his house, and he wants to improve it so she isn't embarrassed. But DH just thinks she's simply planting an idea for her mother, and that the dad will think it's all his idea that the kitchen needs to be updated. I'm thinking this means that if we had a daughter, this technique would completely work on him!

Mine is the hotels.com where they guy gets excited about having 2 shampoos in the hotel and the the wife goes, maybe they are trying to buy you off so you will write a good review...and he goes, it's working...and pours both bottles on his dry head. I don't know why but it just cracks me up every time I see it.

Commercial blooper and they don't know it
I just saw a commercial that mis-stated itself. It was for Barbisol shaving cream. The announcer said "And with 7 different flavors you can pick the right one". Flavors? Think they meant scents. All I thought of was....ewwww people eat shaving cream??? HA HA. Wonder if anyone has brought it to their attention.
But at least its not as annoying as 75% of most commercials. What commercial do you hate the worst.

2. Commercial about animal abuse. - That affects me way too emotionally and I have to change channels cos I start crying.
3. Any commercial where they have objects acting like people (like the swifter commercial).
4. Any commercial where someone is over-acting. Saw one for a dog/cat brush where the girl went to take the hair off of the (old and bad) brush and she acted as though her fingers had been slashed with 100 razor blades.
The lists goes on and on and on. And if I do see a commercial that is annoying I will refuse to buy it and buy the other brand in protest.

They are really adorable! Have you heard of the new breed that is being developed called a Toyger? It is a bengal cat with something else, can't remember what. I lost my Abyssinian in June and I said I wouldn't get another kitty until I could afford a Toyger. However, these Bengal's are pretty cute - do you know how much they cost? My kitty was $500.00, a gift from my son. Toygers are still going for around $800.00 as the breed is so new. Obviously, I can't afford either one on MQ pay.
I think that dog is just too adorable! (sm)
If I didn't have two labs, I would love to have one of those dogs. So cute!
