No texting. That was a huge, ugly, nasty battle. We threatened to get rid of it from the second he got it! Seems that it is somewhat addictive. He does have a phone, but it is only a phone. There is no internet on it. It does have a camera, but he can't send pictures to anyone, just take them.

He wants an iphone/ipod, whatever.

I bought him a $25 CD player. I asked him if anyone laughed at him when he listens to it. He said that they do, but just think he is "old school."

So there you go....I am totally old school.
