I don't use a liner, either. My cat prefers

One of my cats prefers the litter deep, and then it can work as intended. The other (the litter-box-avoider) prefers just a thin layer on the bottom with parts of the plastic showing. Then, of course, the pee sticks to the bottom.

I'm back to caging her at night, when I'm asleep & can't keep an eye on her, or when I go out. I have to be right there watching for her to use the box.

This week's experiment has been with putting aluminum foil on the floor alongside the litterboxes, which is where she usually prefers to go. So far, so good - but I'm sure she has other 'surprises' planned...........

Bottom eye liner sm
Gosh, I am waay up there but have absolutely no bottom eyelashes, I put a thin brown liner on or everyone tells me I look sick or awful, and I also think I look really bad. Please tell me a thin brown line is okay on the bottom lid. I know they glue eyelashes on, but want no one near my eyes. Anyone else bottom lash bald?? As for the younger kids, as long as they don't look like a racoon, less is more and keep it light, it's okay but preteen, is questionable. Even my 5+ year old puts a little blush on and lip gloss to play and then we make her wipe it almost all off before she leaves the house. They just want to fit in. So do I!! Help!
Clumping litter does not require a liner
Mine hated any lining in their box and tore it scratching to cover anyway. I use clumping litter only, which doesn't require a liner. Litter absorbs it before it hits the bottom. Cats can be finicky about the types of litter. I left A&H alone because of the dust it has, even thought it's not supposed to have. I use Tidy Cat, clumping type, and they go for that with no problem.
