time every 2 months (unless things have changed). If you have a year activation, all you have to do is keep a few minutes on it and renew before the expiration date. I buy time maybe once or twice a year, but I always use the double minute plan, so I buy 400 minutes and get 800 and that lasts me at least 6 months or more depending on life. I have not bought any time since about July and it still works great.
