I know what you mean

I have a 18-year-old son who was voted best looking in his class of seniors.  He is the sweetest soft-hearted young man I could imagine.  He would no sooner betray his girlfriend or hurt a girl's feeling than he would rob a gas station.  He has been hurt by some girls' actions, but I too am surprised by the assumption that all males are rotten to the core.
