I was lied to for a period of time, finally caught on and then worked through things. It has been a rough road though.
Even though I would say I trust him now, once in awhile if something seems odd, all those old feelings come flooding back. Luckily I am able to let him know I am feeling uncomfortable about (whatever it is) and talk through it with him.
It's not easy, and to the OP ... if something seems funny to you, pay close attention. There's at least a 50/50 chance something isn't right.
If you can, you might want to keep tight lipped about it and just watch and listen carefully. If something is going on, there will likely be growing signs.
