Although I am only 39 and happily married, you make a very valid point. If (Heaven forbid) something happened to my husband, I doubt very seriously I would actively date. Maybe go out once in a while, but not date regularly. Men at a certain age are just looking for a caregiver...that I do not care to be for anyone else but my family and my husband!
