perhaps you are judging her too harshly. I have been in a similar position. Families like her in-laws (especially with a lot of females) really tend to have a tribe mentality. If one dislikes her, they all disklike her out of loyalty to each other. She's in a tough spot, especially with her husband feeling like he's in the middle of it all. By the way, just because one is a Christian doesn't make them perfect, either. We strive to be role models but we are also just human and slip sometimes.
