I'd wait about calling the other mom. Just be there for both girls, but if things don't work out with the clinic, then talk to the friend before calling her mom. If you break your daughter's confidence, it's very, very hard to get it back and that's very important for your relationship...good luck and I'm praying that the girl's ok...
