It's everywhere--nothing new, just more of it. Includes insanity, drugs, alcohol, depression, severe financial stress, breakdown of the family unit, children growing up without solid roots, lack of social support systems, bullying in the schools to which teachers and school officials turn a deaf ear and a blind eye, morals no longer taught by example. What we are seeing now is the expected consequence of all of it. My theory is that some of these killers of children are acting out oppressed memories of being taunted by other children during their own childhoods due to extremely displaced anger. They were taught at one time to stuff those feelings, but those feelings cannot remain stuffed forever. Not a big mystery.
