than cancerous, even with a family history. But she should remember the importance of a colonoscopy if there is any breast, ovarian, or colon cancer in the family. Good for her for checking it out. In the future, if they ever offer the choice of MRI or CT, get the MRI. Ultrasounds are also good. CT scans do expose us to radiation, so while they are an important test, they aren't as safe as the other 2 types of studies.
