It's not hard if you have pictures saved

on your computer. There are many sites that make it harder to post than this one because here you just click the line that says "Click here to Upload Image" and then search on your computer, usually under Pictures, and choose the thumbnail you want to post and click on it.

You probably saved someone's life in the future.
A couple months ago there was a terrible head-on train crash near Los Angeles, and the cause of it was the engineer of the passenger train blew through a red light because he was texting some teenagers. It's a shame he was killed, because he should have lived to see the carnage he caused.
anyway, they saved a life; that's what we'll focus on

Hope she saved lots of the tips for you for therapy...
just kidding ;)
If it can't be saved by a rebuilt engine, consider a scrap yard. sm
If you have a husband, SO, or brother, etc that is handy with tools, put an ad in your local paper and part it out. Or you can take it to your local scrap yard. They would take it off your hands. If it is a 2003, the engine block would most likely be aluminum, the catalytic converter has platinum in it, the rims are probably metal of some sort. You would be amazed what your local scrap yard takes. Plus you get money for it too. If you call, they can give you the price per ton for aluminum, steel, etc. We did that to our truck and made approx $1,500 when all was said and done. The only catch is that if they have to take it apart, you will not get as much for everything than if you take it apart. But that is something to consider. Good luck.
We silicone a key under the wiper blade base. Can't see it at all! Saved our butts

I asked a very simple gift for Mother's Day, should have saved my breath
I was going to visit my aunt out of town this weekend and my daughter wanted to go with me. The only thing I asked for Mother's Day was that my daughter behave (she is in her 30s understand) but what I meant was getting along, if I should say anything she might not like to smile and say yes. I just wanted a little peace and quiet but I wasted my breath. She said she felt like she always had to walk on eggshells around me. I told her she does not know me at all, never has and I don’t think she cares about me at all. I have been asked loads of time if she is an only child. She is not but that should tell you what others think, just a me type person. I paid for everything, the gas, the motel, the food, everything and thought I could ask for something that she would not have to spend money on. I am thinking seriously about throwing in the towel on her, just giving up. I am too old to fool with her me type stuff any longer, I really have been thinking about doing just that. A simple request, not 1 that I could not pull off if my mother had asked me to do. The last thing before we got home, I wanted to stop at 1 of my favorite pizza places, get a pizza, we could have called before getting home, could have been ready (left out earlier coming home) and she just wanted to grab something quick, so we got a hamburger. I really do not like her and I am sad because I would like to. It has been impossible for me to really love her like I should.
Help with pictures that got wet…PLEASE

I am hoping some of you who were unfortuante enough to have to deal with severe water in your homes can give me some ideas.

We had a flood in our basement a few years ago.  Everything was up off the floor.  Our basement is generally dry.  However, when I was cleaning a week ago I came across a box of pictures that I had no idea were left down there.  They had gotten stuck together.  I have tried putting them in a food dehydrator, using silicone packets in the box, but so far nothing has helped.  These were mostly baby pictures of our adopted daughter so it is especially heartbreaking for me.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get these dried out and apart?  I'll try anything.  The negatives are long gone.

Thanks for the pictures
I hope you are doing okay.  Your dogs are both beautiful!  Now they are together again!
We had our pictures made before the
wedding so the ex saw it just before the wedding. (Maybe it is bad luck, lol). We didn't want to keep the guests waiting, so therefore majority of pictures were made about an hour before the ceremony.
It could be just one of those "funny" pictures
we all take. Just because she is holding a gun and her husband looks like he is smoking something other than a cigarette may not mean anything.
Speaking of pictures.....
My husband never knew his maternal GF, but was named after him. His maternal GF died long before he was born. Well, by the time my husband was in his 20s, he was the spitting image of his GF, right down to the mustache. My children used to look at the picture of their great GF and think it was daddy. They could have been twins. So, to have his mom name him after her father and then he turn out to be his spitting image, that is unbelievable! She had four other sons and none of them look like their GF.

lets see if this worked....
slides to pictures

Good one! Where did you find the pictures? nm.

Yeah! Took it on vacation and took pictures of it
had him sitting on the 2nd balcony railing and went down to take a picture and laugh at ourselves (of course) and SPLAT! He hit the floor!! Too bad we couldn't get a picture of OUR faces!! All the OOOHHH NOOOO looks!

We've enjoyed our little gnome, as ugly as he is with his duct-taped head!! LOL

He's still a member of the family and has his little photo album complete with sticky-note messages on the pictures proudly displayed in the back den! LOL

Did you see the pictures of her refrigerator in the Bahamas??????
Loaded with all kinds of IV drugs! Huge bottle of liquid methadone and a bunch of other vials. Oh, and a box of TrimSpa next to it. Ay-yi-yi.
I didn't notice that in the pictures.
I think she actually looks like ZsaZsa Gabor's husband, the prince. lol. I don't think it is Larry B's baby, for some reason I just don't. And if not, I'd really feel bad for him but he should not be jumping the gun considering how many men she supposedly slept with.
On the toolbar, there should be little pictures or icons
and there is one symbol looks sort of like a backwards P - if you run mouse over it, says show/hide. Try clicking that ;)
Just wanted to thank everyone who shares pictures SM
of their precious pets!  I just love seeing them and hearing their names and stories. It makes me happy to hear so many of you have rescued these precious animals and are providing loving homes!    Thanks for all you do for our aminal friends!
photoshopped pictures of the stars

These are really, really funny!

My daughter took all her friends' pictures
She has a 35-mm SLR film camera, nothing fancy. Her friends paid for the film, developing at a good camera store, and gas for her car. They brought different outfits and accessories and drove around town one day taking pictures in different locations. One of them used her camera and took her picture. They ended up being some of the best photos in the yearbook. Very different from all the rest of the posed pictures taken at the beach. Didn't cost me anything, so I gave her the $65 for her yearbook.
Finally pictures of Bear available.
Introducing Bear - our new black spitz mystery dog (possibly chow mix, Belgian mix, or my favorite, Swedish Lapphund!).
Thanks to all that post their furries pictures
I have 3 furkids but would not know how to post in the first place. Just to let everyone know what a pleasure it is to see all these babies.

Bummer the pictures don't blow up more.

I'd love to see all the little details on them...must be just amazing to look at.  I sure do love sparkly things!

I think I've seen replicas for sale, like on QVC or even E-Bay if you ever wanted to start collecting.  Have no clue how much even fake stuff would go for.  Even if they're just covered in crystals, I'll bet they're still expensive.  I've always wanted to collect those silly little crystal animals and things you see in Hallmark stores.  Oh the way they catch those lights!  I visited a Swarovsky crystal place in some mall once and I was just mesmorized....oh the sparklies!

how do you print pictures from webshots
My daughter sent me a link to her webshots account.  I save as to my desk top and then when I print the they came very grainy.  She claims it is because they do not want people stealing pictures and you have to pay for them.  They are her pictures and she cannot even print them out. I think we are missing something there.
So cute! Could you send more pictures? n/m

changing 35 mm slides to pictures?

Has anyone recently changed 35 mm slides into pictures? Do you know who can do it?  I just found loads of slides from my honeymoon 28 years ago.  I forgot my husband and I used to take slides.

TIA

No offense, but she needs a more explicit book. With pictures, for SM
her and her husband to try, eh, different things. We are not talking specifically romance here, but nitty. gritty, spark flying stuff.
I posed for pictures...which means they're out there somewhere!! LOL nm

You could try Craig's list. Are you including pictures with your ads?
That always gets people too.  Pictures of sweet little puppies.... AWWWW.
My family takes pictures of the open
casket. When my dad was still living and someone was showing these pictures, he would go through and take them out for me because he knew I could not stand looking at them. When he died, my mom had pictures made and had a copy made for me. That was 12 yeras ago and to this day she still has those copies, I really don't want them. She even had us stand by the casket and had pictures made (her, my sister, and me).
Are the Palin/Johnston baby pictures worth

$300,000? I just heard where certain magazines might pay this price. Whatca think about this? Lets see, this baby is Tripp- then there is Trig, Trap, all those cutesy names.

I know how hard it is......sm
I understand what you're saying. God didn't give us the ability to forget, just the strength to get through it. Have you talked with your husband. Does he seem happy to have this child or has he ever said he was sorry for ever wanting that now that the child is here? Maybe if you could hear him say he was sorry for ever wanting that and couldn't imagine your child not being here, maybe that would help. Seeing true remorse in a person goes a long way in helping you deal with this.
Hard to say
If I had it to do over again, I probably would not have married my husband. He and I are not very well suited to each other at all. But then I wouldn't have my wonderful son, so I can't say I entirely regret it. And after 27 years of marriage, my husband and I finally have a great relationship, with the help of an excellent marriage counselor. What's that saying - I've been happily married for 8 years, but we were married 27 years ago.
I'm sorry - I know it must be hard for you (sm)
I don't have experience with it, but at lesat she is making the decision and you don't have to make it. There are also assisted living facilities that are not so much a nursing home, if you think that would be an option for her. Best wishes to you.
i know it is hard to believe
but I didn't see a pay phone in the dorm. You can get a room phone installed but it is expensive. I guess that is a thought though.

Even if I could contact AIM, I don't think I would. He is 18 and really I can't tell them not to let him use his free account. He's an adult (at least in terms of the law) even if he isn't acting very mature. The way it is now, I can see if he is online and talk to him. If I did something like that he would jsut make up a new screen name that I wouldn't have at all. I just don't think that is a good idea.
This is so hard
Your dog is beautiful. I know how attached you get and how much love these little guys give us.

We just had to go through much the same thing with our 9-year-old lab, Murphy. He got pancreatitis and was very sick, started to get better, but then really took a turn for the worse. He was unable to get up and walk and just cried and cried. After a couple of days, we all decided it was best to have him euthanized. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make, but none of us could stand to watch him suffer any more. He has had this look in his eyes like he was saying let me go.

Not saying that that is the right decision for you. I think you will know in your heart when it is time. Just try to keep him as comfortable and happy as possible.

My heart goes out to you and Fox.
re: having a hard day/NC MT
It depends on where your degree is from, and where you plan to go to school.  If your college credit is from a community college, it should most certainly transfer. You really have to check with a counselor from the school you wish to attend. Good luck!
I'm so sorry...I know it must be so hard (sm)
at least it has only been 8 months though...so you two have no children together, right? No having to beg for sex when you are a newlywed is not normal. I have a lot of marital issues myself thought not similar...please e-mail me if you want to talk!
7 is a hard age sm
Had a 2nd grader who was after much angst by all, diagnosed as gifted. I was able to put him in private school, quieter, excelled at everything, is now an entrepeneur and doctoral candidate. It was not easy to pay the bills, but worked harder than ever.  The school had me thinking it was my parenting skills, or lack of them, his behavior, his needing more male positive image, etc., etc. If I had istened to them he would have been put in a special class with those with learning difficulties.  All in all, I was crying every day. Took a lot of time and energy. Looking back, his teacher was at fault for mislabeling him and not appreciating his talent. I think he was smarter than she was. We shudder at even the mention of her name. Some don't deserve to be teaching. Don't let her be mislabeled. Thank goodness, I knew someone in the field who tested as I was transcribing his work.  It's a very hard road you have in front of you. Don't be discouraged, please. Good luck with it, it's very difficult. Keep examining the whole picture. God bless you.
So sorry. I know this has to be so hard
but she obviously is in a very loving home. Take a little comfort in knowing that you gave her a wonderful life.
it must be hard
person... i mean if you have only felt the need to apologize one time that must be some sort of record. correct me if i'm wrong, but you were apologizing at that particular time even though you were not at fault?
I did it on my own. It was not hard. No one else will
It did take some time to educate myself but it was not difficult. Got Money magazine and started reading. Also read other mags. I did have someone to talk to but could have done it without this person.  Also, the investment groups 800 numbers were able to answer questions I had. It was acutally fun, in an odd way, knowing I was taking care of me, without having to pay someone else to do it. And that someone else would also be paid, out of my money, for giving me advice I could find for myself.
It's so hard to know ....
It's so hard to know the truth when these stories are printed in the Enquirer and papers of that kind. I hope this is one of those stories that turn out to be just sensationalism. How sad for him if it isn't!
What's hard is that
we have been keeping all of our kids' college funds in the stockmarket. After a big hit in 2001, they were doing OK. But now that we're really having to use them, the money just isn't there.

I'm wondering if it makes more sense to keep the money in the market (waiting for recovery) and take out a loan for the college tuition.
No wonder it's so hard to get through - and why
And yet US hospitals are trusting confidential data to the people who built that tangled mess. Unbelievable.
It's really hard to tell ...
what the true tones of some of these texts are meant to be.

It seems what I am reading is saying to tell the truth in an abstract way, just not in a personal way.

If anyone cares, my kids are only 4, 5, and 8, so the subject of my experience with alcohol and sex would be totally inappropriate. I was just wondering if anyone had an experience where being truthful with their older kids (18+) about herself was helpful. Apparently not?
