My husband also did not call his mom. He has never called for Mother's Day unless I nag him to death that he needs to do it. I finally decided he was a big boy and could very well call on his own after being married for 25 years. He knows what day it is. He chooses not to call. He says he loves his mom, but he is not interested in having an hour long conversation about what he says is "boring nonsense." I think it is just a guy thing.
