so I know what that means, but I don't want to give them away on the board since I know there are other N/T watchers here.

That's an interesting thought - about Ben using the smoke monster to spy on people. It has also been used to kill people (Mr. Eko) so it's pretty powerful. But then, Ben doesn't seem to hesitate to kill when it serves his purpose.

I don't trust Juliette - I think they left her behind as a spy. And from the previews, so does Sayid. Maybe we will find out a little more next week (ha!).

Wasn't it interesting that Kate met up with Sawyer's ex-GF? So many connections that the other people don't know about - Sawyer meeting Jack's dad, Claire being Jack's half-sister....

And what about Sun's pregnancy? I know it's early days yet, but surely she should have morning sickness or something, just to remind people that she is pregnant.

I think Nikki at least (and maybe Paolo) got out of the grave and covered it back up so the others wouldn't know they're alive. For what purpose, I don't know....but somehow I don't think we've seem the last of them.

How pathetic is my life that I spend so much time thinking about a TV show???

Please do not post spoilers. It ruins it for others who haven't seen
if you are on the east coast, the west coast is 3 hours earlier.  Thanks.  Administrator
Yes, I saw it (no spoilers unless you haven't seen the latest episode)

Not a whole lot of new information, just mostly confirmation of things that are already known, like yes, Desmond's failure to reset the computer was the cause of the airplane crash and later when Desmond turned the key it did temporarily make the island visible so Penny knows about it - but they didn't follow up on that. This is my guess - but presumably the ship that the woman who parachuted onto the island is trying to contact was sent by Penny.

They touched on the idea of the interconnectedness of these people but very lightly - just hinted that there was something that brought this particular group of people together. Interestingly, they didn't say anything at all about the people from the tail section, but the show that was run last night was only 45 minutes because Grey's Anatomy ran 15 minutes over. The one that will be shown next Wednesday is a full hour - I'm going to watch that, too.

The main thing (as far as I'm concerned) is they reiterated that this is not purgatory or anything like that, everyone is actually alive, but they said they are....let me think....."somewhere in the space-time continuum."

Interesting....

My Lost thoughts (spoilers inside)
I'm sorry that Charlie died, too. He slammed the door shut, and seemed to have at least a few seconds before he did that. So why didn't he go outside the door where Desmond was and shut the door from that side? As he was writing on his hand, we were all joking at our house that he'd write, "I should have shut the door from the outside!"
There's hope, I guess. Dead people do seem to appear again on the show.
Wow! So we know they get off the island... or at least Jack and Kate get off the island. How amazing to give up that information! So obviously, that's not the big "hook" question for the conclusion of the series. Sooo many questions! Soooo long to wait for answers!
Just finished Harry Potter - no spoilers
I would never ruin it for anyone.  Just wanted to say - What a ride!  It was an excellent book!  Sorry it's all over.
Who saw the Lost seasone finale? (warning: spoilers)

I can't believe Charlie really died. For a good cause, okay, and he was never my favorite character, but I feel really sorry for Claire.

And what do these people want, these ones on the frieghter? Obviously from Jack's "flash forward", leaving the island now is not a good idea. Why? What does Ben know? Who sent the ship? Penny's father?

It's beginning to look like Locke has a point about not leaving the island. Maybe they are meant to be there. Maybe there is something that they can only accomplish toether. But what?

Hurley was so cool, coming to the rescue in his VW bus. Go Hurley!!
