Nickel dermatitis

I have this problem, too, and I've learned over time to not even bother looking at the really cute trendy earrings unless they're the materials you list. I also have to be careful with watches or I get a nickel dermatitis rash anywhere where the back of the face of the watch rubs. It's even worse in summer so I assume heat/sweat really aggravates the condition.

Having sensitive skin totally sucks at times :-(.

question about nickel in earrings
So I've always had a nickel allergy and have to wear hypoallergenic earrings. Lately my sterling silver earrings are bothering my ears and driving me nuts! I don't want to put nail polish on the posts because that just doesn't sit right with me, but is there something OTC I can try other than that? I hate to get rid of all my earrings!
