This is a no brainer...
you tell them about the mistake and pay the $8000. I am curious why you would even have to ask what to do.
fridge

I love these posts!  We, too, had to clean out before Thanksgiving - my husband did it.  He said there was "something" all over the bottom under the drawers.  Out of sight, out of mind is my standard of living - LOL  Aren't we busy at home MTs just the best housekeepers/homemakers?  Oh well, my friends feel completely relaxed here and I never lack for company when I want it.  A Happy Thanksgiving to All.  If you are working between the hours of 5:30AM and 2:00PM, I'll be thinking of you!!

P.S.  If I don't clean the closet in my office and the one in our bedroom soon, I'll have to replace the stuff I bought for Christmas way back when - can't get to it right now.  Maybe this weekend.

This is a no-brainer
He's gambling the money - again. Your long post is full of denial. You do no one - especially your children - any good when you're in this denial. Here's some unsolicited advice: Seek some help from Al-Anon and you will know what to do.
yes, its a no-brainer.

No offense, but this is a no-brainer
GET OUT NOW, ASAP, for your sake and your kids. Don't think about why because you already have the answers. Just do it. It's wrong, it's over, period. May the light stay with you.
The whole relationship should have been a no-brainer
Frankly, I thought he should have been given more punishment myself, but I don't think the DA/ADA really put a lot of effort into it. As I mentioned, they were going to accept the SIS until I pointed out that I didn't approve on the basis that it's not like another conviction would be destroying a lily-white record, at which point the ADA flipped through the file and said, "Wow, this guy belongs in jail." Going into it, the 'scoop' on the judge were that the 3 things he hated most were drunks, deadbeat dads, and woman-hitters, and the ex was the trifecta (he's about $1100 behind in his child support), but somehow he got to skate away. I do have mixed feelings about the sentence; I wasn't really injured, but on the other hand that was only because I called before it got worse.

I have my own share of self-esteem issues, which is why I stuck it out as long as I did. The only thing Dr. Phil ever said that made sense to me was, "We generate the reality we think we deserve." So I'm spending some quality time channeling Stuart Smalley and doing my self-affirmations, have blocked his phone, and am generating my new reality.
my freezer/fridge is dying

Like an idio t, i thought it was my imagination that stuff wasn't getting cold enough or frozen hard enough in my fridge/freezer so i haven't said anything to the manager of our townhous complex.  around Wedesday I noticed my cool whip wasn't frozen. Now my "frozen" fish sticks are softer and easy to break.  Are they safe to eat? what happens if a "keep frozen" food gets thawed out? Is it still safe to eat?? The office isn't open until Monday and he probably won't get here until Monday afternoon at the earliest so what do I do with all my food in the meantime??

try the LeapFrog Fridge Alaphabet set
I am going through the same issues about the teacher labeling my grand. Although my grand does not have issues with the curriculum, she is sooo far behind the kids in behavior. The teacher is trying to force her to act like the children who are a full year older than she is because that is what the school needs from the kids.

Don't get too upset about this. If you bring that stress into your home, where is the kid going to escape from it to just be a kid? (that's a hint to your grand's mom more than you) The only toy I have found that helps kids learn the alaphabet the way the schools want it learned is the LeapFrog Fridge Alaphabet (about $20 with tax). It is so much fun for my granddaughter and she gets to play in the kitchen while I cook or clean so we do it together.

My mom was a teacher and always said that everyone learns things on their own schedule...how true! Encourage your grand, don't belittle her or let someone else make her feel bad about herself. Being 5-1/2 at almost the end of school is young. She could go to preschool for the summer or have one-on-one time with the son like she is getting to help with her alphabet. She could repeat K to have a chance to catch up. Just remember you can't force her to learn...you can only influence her learning. If she finds learning to be a negative experience early in school, she will always perceive it that way.

Keep up the great job, gran!!
For a no-brainer movie, 40-year-old Virgin...
and I love all the old movies on TCM, like Mildred Pierce, Postman Always Rings Twice, etc., mostly anything from the 1930s to 1950s. Also love all mob movies, especially Goodfellas.
One day my 3 year old son was looking in the fridge reviewing things

My thoughts on this as well as other locks,
if someone wants in bad enough feel they can enter. I have seen police take and pull burglar bars off a door so anything possible. At least it made me feel a little better after a guy had picked another lock I had on my back door and entered while I was there- got the dead bolts the next day.
Locks of Love
Good for you! I am glad these programs seem to be gaining a lot of notice lately. My daughter did it years ago. She had beautiful blonde hair then, now it has gone kinda blah, so glad we did it then!

It's so nice to find something so meaningful to do that just about everyone is capable of helping with.
I had calendar on fridge kept track of rotated weeks

Cut back on food. Not like kitty can open fridge and

She should change the locks while he's at work - sm
and then leave all his stuff out at the curb. That's what I'D do......
Just donated to Locks of Love
This may sound silly, but on my "bucket list" for many years was: "Donate my hair to Locks of Love". I never grew it long enough, and when I got to be about 43 I started finding gray hairs. Knowing that they don't want treated hair, I decided to grow my hair long before it turned gray. It's taken me three years, but today I had a 12-inch pony tail cut off, and it's being sent to Locks of Love. Hooray! And I really hated my hair long, too. It's soooo nice not to have it scratching my neck, and I have a wonderful kicky new hairstyle!
Pssttt....locks are for honest people
nm
change the locks today if you haven't already

I'm behind in reading this particular thread, but the fact that she has a key to your house caught my eye.

This woman has already demonstrated several times that she has an imbalance - possibly a severe one - going on right now.  She sounds potentially violent.  I'd call a locksmith right now and have him come out as soon as he can.  Forget about the extra $$ they're going to charge.  For me that would be $$ well spent.

Order of protection, change locks and be prepared

Change the locks on your doors, nail the windows shut
and fill out a restraining order against him.
