In Reply to: Amy used to love to sit on the monitor, until - I got a flat screen.

and he got so much fur inside of one of our monitors that one day it just shut off and smoke started coming from it! Thank god for the Best Buy warranty! LOL! Made me laugh...I like those panels but...
I think I'd like them for the living room. He doesn't like the light coming from behind the curtain.
What I have up blocking is that material you mentioned but I stapled it. I tried using sticky tack stuff (poster tack) but then I just stapled it one day. Maybe I'll try the Velcro.
And I did think maybe one day I would try to make the roman shades, I've seen patterns on craft shows.

thanks for the ideas and g/l with you nightowl.
I don't believe I do. If anything, it's a flat Midwestern one

denver is most certainly west and is not flat...

I lived in and around Denver for 3+ years - it is not flat at all and it is most definitely WEST..........just not as west as the west coast.  Chicago is considered midwest (Illinois).

Fixing a flat (soft drink, that is)....... (sm)
I do this one all the time: Ever leave half a Coke in the fridge, only to come back later and it's FLAT? I simply open up a new one and add some in with the flat stuff, and the result is actually a smoother, yet still carbonated soft drink. And then you haven't wasted half a can.
How many hershey's kisses fit into a priority flat rate mail box? sm
Apparently, there is a contest going on about this. what would you say? Just curious. I have a guess, but I'm going to keep mine secret! shhhh hahahah
How to make chocolate chip cookes flat and chewy
Does anyone know how to make a chocolate chip cookie that are flat and chewy.  Mine have been coming out thicker, but they go hard fast too.  DH told me I used to make them flatter and chewier, but I don't remember switching recipes (I use the recipe on the back of the chocolate chips).
My sister-in-law and I walk together several times a week. We don't walk on a flat surface
we walk around a park that is constantly up and down so we get a better work-out and it is much more enjoyable to have someone to walk with. I have also joined Curves and really enjoy that.
