OMG I was just going to say they are like AOL when cancelling!

In Reply to: I hadVonage & experienced choppy & dropped calls. They are much like AOL - if you try to cancel. It's next to impossible (

My husband called just this week to cancel ours because we almost never used it. We just signed up for it for our fax line, but we haven't used it in months and don't really plan to since we can just use our regular phone line. While on the phone trying to cancel, all I kept hearing my husband saying was "JUST CANCEL IT! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU"LL GIVE ME...I DON'T WANT IT!" The rep was doing everything to try to get him not to cancel, and when she put him on hold my husband said to me that it is just as bad as trying to cancel AOL. Also, they tried to tell him that we couldn't cancel because we were in a contract for a full year, which was not true! When we signed up, we were told it was only 90 days (we signed up last spring). I would not recommend them!

Statefarm is cancelling lots of people
Have you heard about all the home insurance cancelled by them because of the hurricanes and not paying off like they should? I have always (and I have been driving for 46 years, heard that State Farms was really bad about dropping you and never ever considered going with them. You did not hear that before you took out the insurance? Just like I heard from years ago about the association with breast cancer and hormones and therefore when at surgical menopause in 84 never considered hormone replacement and came to pass now.
