I'm not going to really get into this because I don't want to start a debate. However...ALL DOG BREEDS BITE!!!! You don't know what provoked that dog to bite that child. Maybe he wasn't doing anything to it and maybe he was, YOU don't know. This is not a valid event to judge any breed type on because you don't know the circumstances. Sorry.

Jeeze Louise!
What are you guys spending this money on and how are you doing it without them knowing for so long to build up such a debt?  What kind of debt are you talking, 5,000 or 100,000?  I sneak my husband for 20 bucks occasionally for this or that, but if I want/need something, he is the first to buy it for me.  What you should examine is what led you to this behavior in the first place.  If you cannot afford something, don't buy it, but if you can afford it and your husband just does not want you to have it, hit the road.  Keep in mind, that it is both of your money, not just his.  You should immediately confront him with your bills and then work it out.  This could be the best thing that ever happened to you.  It sounds like the first diet you need to go on is to lose the weight of a full grown man on your back.  You are an adult.  You made your choices (good or bad) and it is too late now to lament.  Life is too short to be so stressed out.  Good luck to you.
