It's like a death, it's going to take some time. When I went through this, it wasn't the physical person that I missed. It was my identity, my hopes and dreams for so many years, the disappointment. I felt really uncomfortable being single. I didn't deal with a lot when I was with my exhusband, so I went over and over all the hurts. I think it's part of the process. You sound like a strong person. In the end you will be a better person for it. Good luck.
