I actually used this as part of a research study - not IF it worked as birth control but to see what happens if you keep replacing them without having periods - checking for breakthrough bleeding, etc. If you have regular sex with a regular partner - I think it is an excellent method - very little to bother with. Put it in - 3 weeks later take it out. I used it for about 2 years age 45-47 or so. Cost about same as pill $20-30 month, at least then it was.
