My BF and I don't have kids together, but it's an idyllic situation. I've seen too many supposedly happy couples start to sink like the titanic once they get married. I don't understand the dynamics of why that happens, but I also don't want to risk my happy relationship by giving it a try.
We're doing a legal domestic partnership, which I just recently found out is open to straight couples, so that I can put him on my insurance, but other than that, I'm avoiding the *M* word as long as possible. I don't need that particular piece of paper to tell me where my heart is or whom I want to wake up next to every morning.
IF IT AIN'T BROKEN, DON'T *FIX* IT.
