I used to go to meetings and I remember the speech, but that's what the WW curriculum is and what the instructors/weight takers are instructed to say.

Don't forget, not everyone is as educated as we are and need that knowledge and encouragement. Maybe she didn't know what you did for a living. Heck, if an overweight doctor walked in there, she'd have to give the same speech.

BTW, they have an excellent program. No fads or gimmicks. Just an easy way to learn and practice a healthy lifestyle. Maybe you should skip the meetings and try it online.

I lost 80 pounds on the program 5 years ago and haven't gone over 5 pounds since then.

Don't let anyone, even a lay person, stand in your way if you really want to feel and look better. It's not her life. Good luck :-)
