It sure was great. The thrill of a lifetime, but it went by so quickly. Just two nights in New York, and most of the days spent at the Garden with breed judging, etc. So much excitement and so many beautiful dogs and wonderful caring people. I think the breed judging is almost more exciting than the show nights because everyone is down on the floor during the day and rings are everywhere with all the different breeds and handlers, all hoping to be the one judged to represent that particular breed in the show. The year I was there Rufus, the Colored Bull Terrier won Best In Show.  I hope to go again some year. I attend some of the local shows as well and met a wonderful Hound breeder in April, who actually asked me to work for her. What a joy to work with dogs! Wish I could hae done just that, but she lives in New Jersey. She has a farm and breeds Borzoi, or what used to be known as the Russian Wolfhound, one of my favorite breeds. They are so sleek and beautiful!
