Thank you for sharing. I am mainly afraid of having to be down for longer than a couple weeks. To make a long story short - I have severe endometriosis. I've been on the Depo shot for 10 years to control it, but for many reasons have to come off of the shot. If my cycle is as terrible as it used to be, I'm considering just having a hysterectomy. There are many other issues involved as well, but that would be a really long post!! Recovery time is something I will certainly have to consider, which is why I appreciate you sharing your experience.
