That's exactly what I did. Something was telling me to drop everything and go be with MIL but I have my own problems and apparently that is just the way their family is. After all, she raised these kids and if she wanted something different, hopefully her own kids would know better than me. I am glad that my husband feels different about me. He recently commented on how he has never seen a family as close as mine and hopes that our kids will be that way with us and each other some day. That says a lot to me! :)
