In Reply to: How is the bird who lost its buddy? - KMT

We got a society finch to go with Roxy. She is solid white and very chatty. We didn't get home with her until late Monday night so they sat with their cages right beside each other all day yesterday. This morning we wanted to put Roxy in the new bird's cage for a while per the suggestion of another poster so she wouldn't feel like somone new was invading her territory. As soon as we opened both cage doors the new bird flew right into Roxy's cage. They seem to be getting along (they are right here beside my desk so I can watch them) but they aren't buddying up (sitting side by side) yet. I haven't seen any aggression but I know it is still early. Right now they are both constantly moving around and chirping. As for a name, my 16yr old DS has a weird sense of humor and since she is solid white he calls her clorox, a name I don't care for. My DD calls her icing. Even though the blue ones had names I always just called them my baby blues. Not sure what I will call this one. Any suggestions?
