Yes, my family has problem hair. Some say we are so blessed with thick hair, but it can be a real problem at the same time. I used to have much less trouble, but several years ago when cutting and layering changed it became much worse. That is a good idea about keeping it clipped until the spray dries. I will try that and hope that helps. I am trying to get my stylist, whom I love in so many ways, to be willing to change what she is doing. That is a lot of the problem. They are actually cutting on the opposite angle than what used to be done. Before the front of the hair would be shorter and the back part of the top longer. Now it is the opposite. They start their line shorter and then bring the front part up to match that, which makes that longer in front. With very thick hair I can't have all that heaviness in the front.  I had this explained by another sylist. She said the fact that I am having such a problem is that they are cutting it to do exactly what I don't want. The last time I went to my regular stylist I asked her to not cut the top because I am trying to let that grow out to start again. Hopefullly we will work something out. I don't want to stop going to her because she has become a friend and does a great job of color, etc. The other stylist I spoke of tends to go way too short. . . . Thanks for listening. Hopefully I will have less trouble soon!
