He is 32 and after I did some research, I think what is going on is PVCs. He has been under a tremendous amount of stress lately and so we are going to try to treat it via supplements (magnesium and calcium, fish oil, etc.) and hope for the best. Also going to try and get him to relax, do something that will focus him away from his stressors. I think that unless he starts having other symptoms with it we should just play it by ear.
Thanks again for the advice. I feel better now.
