I really don't think I will burn in hell for having some
tombstones and a zombie on my lawn.  My heart is right with God, not that it is my neighbor's business, and I just happen to make Halloween fun.  Halloween is what you make of it.  Not everyone is going to agree with me, but you know what? After talking to countless people about this, my things are going back up Friday when I have time to put them up.  There is not one person in my neighborhood who has a problem with this, just my busybody neighbor.  Thanks for all your input!
Matches... no don't burn them
About 25 years ago, my 5-year old son had really bad warts, not plantar warts though, but he had them all over, arms, hands, legs, everywhere. Before he was to start kindergarden his pediatrician wanted to remove them, maybe about 25 in all. Ouch.. I felt so bad for the poor little guy.. anyway an "old timer" told me to get kitchen matches... the old fashioned kind with red tops that you can strike anywhere.. and to soak a few in some water and then to paint the warts with that... well I did it, but was very skeptical and over the summer the warts just dried up and went away. Don't know if you can still get old fashioned matches, maybe at an oldtime hardware store, etc. It may be that they had sulfer in them and this might have been the "magic". Whatever, it worked for him.
same here, gotta burn those wicks!. nm

I don't burn candles from Yankee, but
I use those wax tarts in a tart warmer, and I found that the ones from Yankee smell the longest. They give off more of a smell in your house than candles do. Plus you can get an electric warmer, so you don't have to worry about the flame if you have animals or such, as I do. Works much better for me, just a suggestion.
I agree, but it could be burn out, because it sounds

Not together I hope.. you could burn something important LOL

I burn Yankee Candles
Right now I have one going in my office that is called "beach towel" and it smells like the beach on a hot summer day! (I'm in denial because I live in New England and it's cold here now!) In my living room, I am burning one called "chocolate chip cookie" and it smells like just someone is baking cookies! I love it! I go to Yankee Candle about twice a month and stock up! I just got about 5 of their new Christmas candles that I can't wait to burn.
Only on very bad days. Either burn candle or

Hey, I think I'll burn really tall
candles under my mailbox. Then all the bills and junk mail will burn up before it gets into my house and makes messy piles, LOL.

How efficient. :o)
Doing a slow burn here, going for the jugular
i was so involved, thought i had found some people i could trust and started an animal rescue group with. I paid the expenses to start with the understanding that i would be involved as far as being able to go to rescue animals and basically spent time interacting with them. Oh, believe you me before I did this I got this in writing with the person I was starting this with. Since January of this year when this was first started I basically have rescued about 10 cats and that was about 3 weeks ago. I went along with my coperson but she was always the one picking the animals out. I was happy to go but seems like that has suddenly dried up now since she is up and apparently making some money. I made it clear I did not want any money they might make from the sell of the animals, I was only happy to get them out of the places where they would be put down. Well, so much for MS Nice Lady. I have called her twice over the past 3 days, sent her an email asking her to call, called another lady she heavily works with in this rescuing and no answer at all. I have smoke coming out my ears. Just imagine, about 3 months ago this same person asked me to cosign on a vehicle with a person I had met 1 time for them to transport animals up north!! Well, duh, do I look that looney to you. Not only that, but then 2 months ago this same person came to me telling me she had her electricity turned out, forgot to pay her bill and wanted to borrow $500.00. Even though I am what you call a senior citizen (and when I take her behind to court, that might also work against her) I told her no way was 1 month bill that much, had to be more than 1 month and maybe she should ask her mother and/or father for that. No way Jose was I giving any money, for the animals yes, for someone who conviently forgets a bill, nah. Has anyone on here ever put a lien against someone else. This person does not have a job but has a home. I do not know if the home is in her name but I have just printed off several sheets from Craig's List where they are offering the animals for $125-$200 so she should have some money by now. She is incorporated now but when we signed the agreement she was not, just us starting out. I would think with her being incorporated and selling the animals she should also have books to show her income and such. I am going for her jugular and no more Ms Nice Nice. I am ticked. Thank goodness I have saved any and all receipts I have pertaining to all the animal care, food, etc. etc. that I have paid out.

cool baths burn with fever
I discovered cool baths really burn when you have a high fever. Maybe tepid to slightly warm may be better.

Dear Next Door Burn other neighbors down also
You should not have a fire blazing out of control- we have woods right behind us that basically connect. Oh, I was the one who called the fire department on your blaze. Against the rules here in the community and the city as far as that is concerned. Talk about loonies- maybe that is why I do not talk with you.
Well, it's gotten cold enough to burn the fireplace. I'm in northern AZ. How bout you?
