I mean at that age nobody should be dating seriously IMO.
Now the fact that the girl is saying mean things about your son? Take it with a grain of salt, are they new to high school? This will last all 4 years. When I opened this question, I completely expected it to be about girls versus girls, which I have plenty of experience on, but when I read that it was a boy, come on, that is common sense. Girls are going to be hurt and mad if a boy breaks their heart, and vice versa. Such is life!!! Happens even OUT of high school...
I am sure your son is not the bad guy here and he should not have his reputation ruined by a girl, but this is bound to happen... plenty more times. There will be girls that come around that find out for themselves what he is like.
