For anyone that hasn't seen it, I won't give away the part at the beginning and at the end that I cry at, but towards the end when he's getting ready to go back to fight the British and his daughter, who hasn't said a word since her mother died, runs at him and tells him that she'll say anything as long as he doesn't leave. This part gets me and my DH every time, so much so that if we're talking about tear-jerker movies and I mention The Patriot, DH starts to tear up.
