1.  Rattlesnake - good is breaded and deep fried.

2.  Buffalo - very lean and tastes good.

3. Ostrich.

4.Pheasant - dry unless roasted with bacon on top.

5. Rabbit - lots of menu variations with this.

6. Elk.

7. Moose. Heard it tastes better than beef.

All of the above are in the USA, if not raised on farms, are in the wild.

Trying Med Alternatives
I don't have health insurance, so I try to limit my trips to the doctor. I do go for a yearly woman's exam, and my OB doctor does not like to prescribe medications. Should I find a family doctor for this issue? I've been trying herbal supplements.
Any good affordable alternatives for chronic constipation besides Glucolax? sm

Our 17-year-old stepdaughter has chronic problems with constipation. The insurance company is now refusing to pay for this medication because MiraLax is now over-the-counter and is similar. We were paying $3 a month in copays for the Glycolax and I'm seeing prices of $22-25/month for MiraLax.  She doesn't eat the best high fiber diet (typical teenager) even though the GI doctor told her to because her mother died of colon cancer and other relatives died of various cancers.

Any recommendations of things to try?
