They do have scent glands in their pads,

I've read. You may have seen dogs rake the ground with their feet. In their case they use their back ones a lot for it, and they can really kick up some dirt and grass when they do it. It is considered dominant behavior in dogs.

Anal glands
Sometimes on he older dogs, and dasch's and poodles especially, the anal glands need to be expressed and cleaned, the smell could be that they are dripping out that awful smell.   Also check ears as with droopy ears they do not get the air in there and sometimes get awful ear infections that smell very bad also.   Used to work for a vet.   If he/she licks a lot at their hind end or scoots on the floor, could be a sign of anal glands.   Also if they shake their head a lot, could be an ear infection.  Either one is quite smelly.   Take them to either a vet to be expressed or pay for a bath by a bather and ask if they express anal glands.   They will also check their ears out.    Good luck.    Patti
may need anal glands expressed -
can happen - I have had 4 neutered males and never had a problem.  Does he ever scoot on the floor?
Looking for a new laundry scent...

I am currently using Gain - Mandarin Lime Fusion, which is awesome, but have been using it a while now and the smell is starting to fade.  Taking a poll on your favorite scent...

Puppy pads. sm
My puppy is now 8 months old but she was pad trained.  You can buy an accessory to hold a frame around the pads so the puppy won't chew them up.  I think they have a scent to encourage puppy to go there.  I have a chihuahua and that works for me; although I do take her out and she has learned it is perfectly fine to go outside too.
Uhhh, I'd get some pads for one thing - sm
as for her age anywhere from 10-13 is normal nowadays. I have a 10 and 8-year-old. The 10-y/o is starting to get some hair which they say comes in about 2 year before the period, so I expect she will get it between 11-12. I was 12 when I got mine, and drank tons of milk, as does she. You should know what to do, as you had a period once, or assume you did since you have 2 sons.
I wouldn't worry - I think he just likes the scent. (sm)
At least you know that when you've taken the same bubble bath or used the same soap, that he like how you smell!
;)
New favorite Yankee Candles scent

I ordered a box of new spring scents (tarts) and I have to say Velvet Petals is my new all time favorite, with Midnight Jasmine running a close second.

What's your favorite?

You can buy mild shock pads to place on furniture.
