This is a hoax

You can check it out on Snopes.com by searching with the words popcorn and cellphone.

Or, you can check it out for yourself by watching the popcorn carefully. It is being tossed onto the table from outside the frame, and the film has been edited to make it look like the kernels actually popped when they were simply removed.

Snopes.com is a great place to check out pretty much anything you find on the Internet.

NBC or no NBC, it's' still a hoax....

Well, perhaps it is hoax but gosh just wonder
what would happen if everyone that could be reached decided not to buy gas. Would it not take some money out of the pockets of the gougers? Sounds feasible to me. I called my daughter and she had already heard aobut it. I think I might try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained so I hear.
What is this? National HOAX day, or something?..nm

Well if everyone did it, then it wouldn't be a hoax, right?
Can't blame someone for trying :)
That's a hoax! ha No, honestly, they get along with a few
wrestling matches thrown in!
These photo's are a hoax
These photos are from a scene in the show "Lost". See link below.

What is sad is that some sicko would do something like this and post it on the internet.

Anyway...here is a link I found that it's a hoax...

Send a Letter to "A Recovering American Soldier" at Walter Reed Army Medical Center-Fiction!

Summary of the eRumor:
The brief email gives the address for the famous Walter Reed Army Medical Center and suggests that you include "A Recovering American Soldier" on your Christmas card list.
The Truth:
The Walter Reed Army Medical Center will not receive letters that are not addressed to a particular soldier by name.

In a statement, the facility said "
Walter Reed cannot accept these packages in support of the decision by then Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Transportation Policy in 2001. This decision was made to ensure the safety and well being of patients and staff at medical centers throughout the Department of Defense."

The decision applies to packages, letters, Christmas cards, or any other mail not addressed to a soldier by name.

Additionally the U.S. Postal Service has stopped delivering any mail that is addressed to "A Recovering American Soldier" or "Any Wounded Soldier," which are the most common recommendations in the eRumors that circulate about sending messages to soldiers at Walter Reed.

Instead, Water Reed suggests making a donation to
www.americasupportsyou.mil which is a site representing more than 300 organizations helping the troops in various ways.

Yes - does not work! Hoax if you ask me. MetaboLife doesn't work either.
The only thing that works for me is exercise and eating correctly! No quick fix, unfortunately.
