In Reply to: All 3 of our cats and our 120-pound dog sleep with us in the bed - ERMT

To all of you who tell me how you let the animals stay, sleep in your rooms, let me tell you about what happened the last time this tile man was here and maybe you will understand a little better. The tile peope putting the tile down have my front door open to let the dust escape as well as windows. Two years ago when they put down some tile, I did have the cats in my bedroom with the door shut and even tape over the door. I was in a back room working and went in and noticed the door open. Yes, open. My cats are NEVER outside, never and I was hitting the panic button thinking if the door open, they were outside. I was frantic, running all over, screaming telling everyone here I had to find my cats. This time I fixed the garage up with 2 of their big sized blankets and I go out there several times a day (it is not like we don't have contact). I would MUCH rather have them there than run the possibility of their escaping because some person decided to open a door and then they run out the front! I would have thought from the other time that taping and shuting a door would MEAN do not enter- but they are european and maybe that is not something they know from their place?? I should never, never get slammed for wanting to PROTECT my babies!

Posted below, updating..
I have read, I have searched, I asked my physician point blank if I could have costochondritis, no answers, horrific, front and back rib pain, every day, no let up. Posted here several times trying to find if anyone out there with similar problem. Now I could wring my doctor's neck. I finally read last night (have fibromyalgia) that 60-70% of fibro suffers also HAVE costochondritis and it can go on for sometimes 6-12 months. That is a huge amount. I have had probably about 3 months now with no relief. The site said omega 3, 2400 units (mg?) per day along with usual non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for 2 weeks and then just the omega 3 alone after that and the omega really is pain reliever. I NEVER eat fish and yet this morning have asked hubby to hook me up with some - I know it won't hurt and should help me some. Why, why if this were a possibility and I even asked my physician specifically if it could be the costo, surely he has more knowledge than me, why not test me to see as I am bitterly complaining of rib pain all around?? I just DO NOT get it but this is 1 thing for sure, the next physician I go to will NOT be that one. I go to a family practice and there are several around my home and this lady will definitely be going elsewhere.
Updating- the ones posting about possibly end of life
for her could be right. I just had her to the Vet's this week, just to weigh because she has lost weight (thyroid problem for 1 thing). I also have heard of animals wanting to leave as they get close to end of life so I am not shocked, in fact was wondering if this was what perhaps might be going on with her. She is around 20 and was born at my home so naturally I would hate even though I have known for some time about the age limits for cats. I do not think she is in pain, just roaming all around instead of her using napping 24/7 and then the vocals, not her at all. I will continue to love and pet as much as I can between my work hrs and if she should get to where I think in pain, definitely go back to vet's with her. I really appreciate the information above. Thanks to everyone.
