Using it for psoriasis

Someone suggested it for use with psoriasis or other skin conditions. I just started using it 2 days ago and I believe it is starting to help. Haven't been faithful with it though but have to. I've heard its wonderful for other health benefits too and going to read up more on it. Got a whole jar sitting here and it smells wonderful. I want to try it as a deep conditioner for my dry brittle hair.
