Warts or moles

I don't know if they will go away permanetly because I am still doing it. I saw online that Castor Oil got rid of age spots. My thyroid had been off kilter for a while and I got these little warts on my face just under my eye glasses. I couldn't live with these so I went to Walmart and got some Castor Oil and put it on morning and night but especially at night and they are going away. So I tried it on my neck and they are getting smaller but taking longer. I hope when they do disapper they are gone for a long time or forever. Hope it works. Better than using Wart-Off which scars.

with home remedy.  If so, what did you use and did it work for you.  Thanks for sharing your info.   Desperate to get these off my neck so necklaces would look prettier, etc.

On your neck, could be skin tags instead of moles
I would never bother moles but have had skin tags removed. They are the little fleshy protuberances that appear, especially around your neck. I had some clipped at the dermatologist's office and clipped 1 at my home with small scissors but the one I did at home was sorta painful. As you age they start showing up and they do return.
Does anyone have a little one with warts? sm

My 6 y/o started out with a few on her knee and hand. Now she has little ones on her toes, fingers legs, and arms. I hate to use the over the counter creams in case she puts her finger in her mouth after touching one. I tried using the duct tape, but she pulls it off! Anyone else ever have this problem? A few years ago my oldest daughter had warts on the cuticles of all her fingers and one very large wart on her knee. The doc froze the large one on her knee and all the others went away. My 6 y/o has several medium ones, but most are tiny and I dont think she would sit long enough or do well with the freezing method. Thanks for any info on this!!

Warts
My 13 year old has warts. She has them all over one foot and toe. She had one removed last year by the heating method, and it hurt like crazy. I just took her to a podiatrist last week and he's giving her weekly treatments. He is using a different method altogether. He's putting some sort of medicine on it (I foget the name) and she has to go in tomorrow for another treatment. It brings the wart to the surface and he just scrapes off the dead skin around in. He said it might take a month or so, but I think it's better than freezing or burning.

My neighbor used the duct tape method on her 5 year old and it worked wonders. Too bad it's so hard to keep on.
Men can get the genital warts,
On the penis and/or anal areas which can clear on their own, or can be removed at the doctor's office.

As far as is known, there are no worse effects on men. They can, of course, pass the virus to women.
garlic on warts gets rid of them. sm
home remedies or new age?? fine line there.

sometimes I think we're being "prepped" for a corporate-free world...
May not be warts. Ever heard of molluscum?
My neice had what appeared to be "warts" all over her body. I had never seen anything like it. Then I noticed my daughter had one on her arm. Hers slowly spread to all over her body too. Turns out it was molluscum. It can be highly contagious amongst children. You can Google it and find out more to see if this sounds like what your child has. There are different therapies available but it will usually go away on its own after a period of time as long as they don't scratch the "head" of it off which spreads the virus just like with acne. We found that cleaning them with peroxide twice a day helped them to clear up faster.
funny you should bring up warts,
I remember my mother's great-aunt putting an aspirin an a band-aid on one I had on the side of my thumb before I went to bed and the next day when I awoke, it was gone. I have always been suspicious though because the band-aid was gone, too! I started this thread because we are losing all that info and we may actually need it some day, that is why I wanted what works on here. Thanks everybody who contributed. L
