Right now I babysit a little girl about 3 days a week until her mother gets off work. I have held garage sales. I also recycle aluminum cans. My mom and her neighbor save them for me. I sell pecans from my pecan tree. There is not much income in those things but a little bit helps. H bought some steers with our tax return and put them on his mother's place. We might make a profit there. He inherited some farm equipment and he custom farms. In fact, last weekend he baled hay and earned $1000. It was a big patch though but not bad for 1 weekend.
If you have hobbies you can profit off of that. I just recently picked up sewing. I am not very good at it yet but I have made myself some clothes that I just love. They fit me much better than anything I found in the store. My aunt was a good seamstress and she used to make cheerleader outfits for the HS cheer squad for extra money. I also know several people that make earn extra money making bridesmaid dresses or Quinceañeras (sweet 15) which are popular around here.
SIL is a photographer and she has made a profit photographing others. I also know people who have bought old furniture from garage sales and fixed them up and made a profit. There are a lot of people that claim mystery shopping earns them extra money. Also, some websites allow you to write articles online for extra income but I don't know where or how.
