Since you already sent in the RSVP card for dinner I would definitely go. Pull together something simple to wear from your closet and get a small gift like a set of nesting mixing bowls, kitchen towels that go with any color and pot holders, something like that. Yes, 20 years is a long time to not see many of the people who will be attending, but it might be a great chance to renew friendships. I hope you go and enjoy yourself. You can do it!
