Not a fan, but I thought the hair was a hoot!
My take on it was that since all they want to talk about is his hair, he'll show 'em hair! I heard him say he asked for a Mohawk, and the next thing he knew he was getting ponytails. I thought the effect was hilarious and very tongue-in-cheek, but that's just me.
