any animal, and I don't need to justify anything to anyone. The OP asked what other people did or for suggestion, and I just gave my input. I would never hurt any animal, and both my cat and dog are like my kids and very happy.

Is spaying and neutering my animals mutilation too? These are approved medical procedures done under the care of a fantastic vet clinic. Give me a break!
