Why would you want to reform a snob?

In Reply to: allergic reaction to snobs - help

I have enough in my life just to take care of my business. I do not take care of anyone else. I also hear about economic enviroment but some people are not suffering as much as others. I reallly think the economy is picking up (out shopping yesterday and so many more people than I saw right before Christmas) and the light might be at the end of the tunnel now.

If that's not a case for welfare reform, I don't know what is - sm
Wouldn't it make sense for us (as taxpayers) to say: We understand occasionally people have hardships and need food stamps and other help; however, while you are receiving assistance, you must have Norplant (or something that can't be accidentally forgotten) so that you cannot have another child while receiving it? Otherwise we are simply perpetuating the welfare state by enabling unemployed people to have as many kids as they can, and rewarding them to do so.
If someone can still be a snob with not enough to

Oh my goodness what a snob sm
you really are. I assume you are working. Do you spend your check as you wish or contribute to the family finances. My husband also works his butt off, it is an equal partnership here. I work for what I have and am NOT going to let somebody else tell me how to spend it.

If folks like you are a sample of what lives in a HOA, I will take my renters anyday next to you lady.

Personally I think you are just trying to start a fight.
Me thinks we have a bit of a snob here. BOO-HISS (sm)
nm  cigarette in the mouth - not behind the ear, no beer in hand, no wife beater T.  Yes, we really do have it going on.  Live right on the lake and are happy as clams.
She sounds like a complete snob!
What a pain in the &$)#! It's her own fault that she didn't tell you what color dress to get beforehand! She is the one who is being difficult, not you! I would just wear that dress anyway!
Credit Card Reform Can Cost Good Card Users

Part of article:

Credit cards have long been a very good deal for people who pay their bills on time and in full. Even as card companies imposed punitive fees and penalties on those late with their payments, the best customers racked up cash-back rewards, frequent-flier miles and other perks in recent years.

Now Congress is moving to limit the penalties on riskier borrowers, who have become a prime source of billions of dollars in fee revenue for the industry. And to make up for lost income, the card companies are going after those people with sterling credit.

We pay off our balance every month. If they do this (punish those who have sterling credit) Ridiculous!! I'll stop using my CC and pay by cash or check.

So much for reform.
