You are so right about this but not just the aunts and uncles

It also applies to the grandparents, me being a paternal grandparent. I was overlooked right from the start with the g'kids taken around the maternal side, but what about me. I finally came to accept and very rarely see the g'kids any more, every once in awhile. It is supposed to be all peaches and cream when it comes to g'kids but not always the case. I tried my best to be around but pretty soon just went with the inevitable. Love them and wish them well.

My aunts always made friendship bread.
Not sure exactly, but they would get a "start" from someone and always had a little left to use to mix up the next loaf, so on and so on.
