A foster program was going to be my suggestion. Our newspaper had a story about pet fostering for military personnel in my area.
To the OP: Also try asking the humane shelter or your vet(s) if they know of foster families/groups. I worked for a vet years ago, and you would be surprised what kind of info they share with other animal agencies/groups. Give your daughter my best wishes.

just wondered if anyone has ever talked with a psychic and if so, how was your experience? i'm watching psychic detective, and it's interesting.

walked in off the streets when visiting in New York City. Dressed in regular clothes, no jewelry to speak of and I remember the first thing said to me was "You make a lot of money and the money runs through your fingers like water." I did and that was absolutely 100% true but how, pray tell, could she have known? Another time in Jamaica went to witch doctor and he told me I would like another child but couldn’t (was in early 30s, true, had tubal ligation) and I was going to be offered company- got back home and friend told me relocating to California and would I like to take over her company. Those are my experiences.

If you knew you would get a true answer, what would you ask? What is the one thing you would least like to know?

I would ask about a personal situation I'm going through and why I can't seem to move on. I feel I'm not getting the lesson for some reason.
I wouldn't want to know if anything REALLY bad was going to happen to my children.
I talked to a pet psychic once. Does that count? LOL
Seriously, she was supposedly a well known and well respected pet psychic. My dog was elderly and in poor health. I'd adopted her at 10-11 years of age, and now it was 5 yrs later. Her owner was not entirely honest with me about her background, so I was curious about that, and her current state of health.
I saw her flyer at a Pet Expo, so I gave her a call. I took notes about what she said. Some of it was accurate (if obvious/generic), and the rest was... well, I wouldn't say *wildly* off base, but it wasn't accurate and/or I didn't believe it. I don't believe she had any kind of gift, though it was an intersting conversation and she was very professional.
I do think some (very few) people do have abilities in this area that most of us don't have, but I also believe most 'psychics' are full of it and just do it for the money. I've never wanted to see a 'people' psychic, and I wouldn't try a pet psychic again either. JMO.

This morning I wrote a letter to my son, who I cut out of my life eight years ago at a time he was making two children with two different women. I got on my high horse and told him that until he straightened his life out I could not be part of his life. He was divorced from his wife, who was pregnant, and setting up housekeeping with his girlfriend, who was pregnant. Since then, he married his girlfriend, had another child, bought a house, but I had let it all slip away. I've never met his son and daughter, never met his present wife.
I wrote him today and asked for forgiveness and to be a part of his life again. I want to know my grandchildren.
Could you all send your positive thoughts my way, or pray for me, that he'll let me back in his life? I so want to rectify this horrible mistake. I've already missed the first eight years of my granddaughter's life. I don't want to miss the rest!
