I have worn them for years for special occasions. I am also blond and my eyes are sensitive to makeup, otherwise they tear. I have worn full lashes and also demi-lashes (half lashes). The trick is to not use very much glue. Apply the glue to the lash, let it stand for a few seconds, flex the lash to make it flexible so it goes on easily and then look down into the mirrow and apply the lash as close as possible to the lower part of your eyelid, practically on top of your own lash. I do use a minimal about of mascara to the very outer tip, just to the tips of my own eyelashes. I buy the lightest colored lashes and I buy short ones so that they look natural. I buy a brown mascara. You can use a darker mascara (black) to the tips if you want for evening.

Anyone wear false eyelashes? question sm

Is there a trick to wearing them so they don't look obviously fake?
I have never tried them but considering it.
Have had too many eye problems in the past year from reactions to different types of mascara but I have white blonde eyelashes.  Need a little something.
Thanks Stupid question - false eyelashes sm
How do you keep from ripping out your own eyelashes when you take the false ones off?

Just soak the glue off with water before trying to remove them?
I have a good suggestion, works for me about eyelashes
I was told to use Biotin for my hair loss and it has grown my lashes longer. It is very inexpensive, just a supplement and no harm at all.
